A Mother-Daughter Tradition, Baked Into Every Batch

Marian Black and her daughter Dina started baking side by side in the early 90s. What began in a cottage kitchen officially became In The Black Cookie Co in 2021, and Marian's recipes and her belief that the best way to someone's heart is through their stomach still guide everything we bake.

Today Dina carries her mother's legacy forward alongside Le Cordon Bleu trained head baker Chef Rosie Romo, whose hands are on every batch that leaves our Southern California kitchen.
